As other reviewers have said before, I have also found Dr Dempsey to have a wonderful bedside (or should I say deskside) manner and to be very good at putting me at ease. He makes me feel like a full partner in my health management and takes the time to discuss any suggestions, questions and concerns I have, and all options available. I like how he is very transparent: he has shown me CT scan results, x-rays, he dictates his notes of the consultation into his dictaphone in my presence and I receive a paper copy when they are typed up. Can't praise Dr Dempsey highly enough!

Since Dr. Dempsey has taken over my respiratory care, he has really gone the extra mile in trying to get my acute asthma under control. He has ran a lot of tests and scans which were not previously carried out to try and get to the bottom of my breathing difficulties and get an answer as to why my breathing is so problematic. He always takes the time to thoroughly go through scans and test results with me and for the first time, I feel that every avenue is being looked into as to why my breathing difficulties are so bad. He always involves me in decisions about my medical treatment and what to do next. I also like the fact that he dictates his follow up letter to my GP in front of me so I am aware of what he has advised her. In addition, I also receive a copy of the letter which is sent out to my GP. He is by far the best consultant I have seen in any of my medical care and I feel confident and happy under his care. I only wish there were more consultants and doctors like Dr. Dempsey as he really does put his patient's needs first.

I had heard only positive remarks and feedback from my mother and father regards Dr Dempsey whom treated my father for many years. On meeting the Doctor face to face I have to say he was everything I had expected and put me at ease right from the start. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dr Dempsey to anyone. The Doctor has by far the best bedside manner I have come across. It’s a terrible thing to be diagnosed with a terminal illness at any age, it’s a great comfort having Dr Dempsey guide one along a road that only has one outcome, thank you.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Dr Dempsey. as I have found him to be extremely supportive, patient and transparent. He really takes the time to listen to what you have to say and my last visit felt like a friendly catch up rather than a formal doctor/patient appointment. I am very pleased to have Dr Dempsey as one of my consultants and I feel very confident in the level of care and support he provides.
